Two for one offer....

Tom Wyllie North East Singer and JK
Tom was back at Marabini’s on Saturday, and on fine form. Jason King, another regular singer there, looked in and Tom and he gave the diners a treat with a couple of off the cuff, unrehearsed duets. It was a busy night in the restaurant, so Tom was later starting than normal, but he carried on until past midnight, with diners enjoying both his classical and party repertoire.

Miguel-Tom Wyllie-Ruth Wyllie
It was a special evening as Tom’s Mum, Ruth was there celebrating her birthday, and had the pleasure of her son leading the diners singing Happy Birthday to her. Miguel was celebrating his birthday too, so, not surprisingly the partying carried on late.

If you haven’t been to Marabini’s, book your table now! Tom is there every weekend between now and New Year - it’s always a great night there! His next public gig is back there on Friday 29th November.

Marabini's, The Feathers and The Philippines

Tom had a busy weekend - with Marabini’s on Saturday night, followed by The Feathers Inn on Sunday night.

Saturday saw another great crowd at Marabini’s - when is it not a good crowd at Marabini’s? There were birthday parties and a hen party, and they were in the mood to dance and sing, so a great night was had by all. You can check to see the dates when Tom is back at Marabini’s here, but be sure to book a table as it gets very busy!

Tom and Anna Feathers Inn

On Sunday, Tom was up at The Feathers Inn, Hedley on the Hill, where Helen and Rhian were raising funds for the Disaster Emergency Committee Typhoon Haiyan Appeal. It was a great night, which started with Izzy Daltry singing and playing keyboard - two songs which she wrote herself. She’s a talented girl with a bright future! Then Tom sang a few of his Classical/Musical Theatre songs, starting with “Somewhere Only We Know” - currently being used in the John Lewis Christmas ad.

Tom was joined by Anna Foster from Magic 1152 who sang “All I Ask Of You” from Phantom Of The Opera, with Tom, and then followed that with a beautiful “O Mio Babbino Caro”.

The Feathers Inn Audience
There followed a quiz by quizmaster Toby Daltry - he knows how to put an entertaining quiz together! His delivery of questions and clues was entertainment of itself, we hope to return for another of his quizzes. Next up was Joe Taylor - Guitarist/Singer/Songwriter, who sang a couple of songs including Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” and then he accompanied himself and Tom singing “Walking in Memphis”. It was totally unrehearsed but was a great version, putting many X Factor contestants to shame!

Finally, Tom was back on, with plenty of upbeat material that everyone could sing along to. As you see, the pub was rocking! Allendale, Wylam and Mordue Breweries, and LWC Drinks, all charged £3 for Real Ales and traditional Ciders, with 100% going to the appeal. At the last count over £1200 was raised - a fantastic effort!

You can see Tom’s next public gig at Marabini’s on Saturday 23rd November 2013.

Marabini's
Tom sang at Marabini’s both on Saturday and Sunday nights this weekend!

Saturday was another great night at Marabini’s and was the first in a run of consecutive Saturdays at there which will take us up to the end of the year. The atmosphere at Marabini’s is not to be missed.

Last night, Tom was back, helping the Young section of Morpeth Harriers with their dinner and awards night. It was fantastic to see so many there supporting the night, and hopefully it proved to be a great fundraiser for the club.

Tom will be back at Marabini’s next Saturday, 16th November. Book your table now!
