Lollo Rosso is here!!!!!

It is two months since we posted here, which is crazy! In that time Tom has sung at countless restaurant gigs, at Charity Balls, the Kielder Marathon, and local weddings.
All the gigs were great fun. Tom helped raise £1,100 at Stocksfield Golf Club for MIND - well done to Richie Armstrong who went on to run in the Great North Run, again. Ali and Richie were kind enough to say "Tom was great at our charity night – he fitted into the venue well and helped getting all the guests involved with his fantastic voice and personality! A must for every night to get the audience involved!
Tom Wyllie NE Singer at 2015 Superhero Ball
Well done too to everyone at Muscles for Mitchell. They held a Superhero Ball at Bannatyne Hotel in Darlington, and Tom provided the entertainment, whilst over £3,000 was raised on the night! A fantastic effort. Kate Tinkler was also very kind to send us a message saying "Tom was a great find. Recommended by a friend and easily booked with quick and straight forward, honest communication. Tom was flexible, he has a broad repertoire and was a lively and fun entertainer at our Superhero charity ball. He was a great sport and everyone thoroughly enjoyed his performance on the night. Will definitely be booking him again!"

Square Singing
Congratulations to Gemma and Kenny Buxton for whom we had great fun recently providing their Wedding Celebration entertainment:

"Just wanted to thank you once again for making our wedding celebration on Sunday night at Barluga so amazing.
We had the best night, hope you enjoyed it too.
"

Three Amigos Tom Wyllie North East Singer
Now, many of you will know, that Tom performed on the opening night at Lollo Rosso Italia in Morpeth. This is the new venture owned and run by our good friends Giovanni Marabini, and Miguel Perez, formerly of Marabini's. There has been so much love shown towards them both and if goodwill could ensure the success of a business, then these two lovely guys already have an enormous winner on their hands! Tom has been back since opening night, and has a couple more gigs booked in this year, but from January will regularly have two nights a month there. Along with the rest of Morpeth (and beyond) we wish them all the very best.

You can catch Tom next at La Torre in Bedlington on Friday 30th October and at Horton Grange Country House Hotel on Saturday 31st October. See you there!

Morpeth Market Place

22082015 Morpeth Market Place
Saturday saw Tom return to Morpeth Market Place for the second of his summer concerts there. As ever, everybody was very kind and welcoming, and he had a blast! He tried out one or two new songs on his audience this time, mixed in with some favourites. The weather was kind, and despite the forecast of thunder, it held off and we even saw a little sunshine. We'd like to thank everyone for their company and comments both in person and on "Morpeth Matters" - they are much appreciated and we are glad you enjoyed Tom's performance. Thanks too to all who bought his Cd(s), and to those who wished the had - you can buy them on this website, so it's not too late!!

Tom Wyllie Morpeth 22082015_1
If you enjoyed Morpeth Market Place, why not come along to Horton Grange Country House Hotel for one of Tom's gigs there? Enjoy some fine dining and Tom's Classical / Musical Theatre / Easy Listening Repertoire. He has regular gigs there, and the dates can be found here. In the meantime, his next public appearances are at La Torre in Bedlington on Friday 28th Aug and Davanti Italia, Whitley Lodge on Saturday 29th Aug. Book your table now and get ready for some fun!

And we are off.....

Tom Wyllie singing at La Torre
Tom has had a busy couple of weeks with gigs at La Torre in Bedlington, a lovely combined 50th Birthday/Pearl Wedding Anniversary Party at The Old Comrades Club in Morpeth, Vercelli's in Hexham and Morpeth Market Place.

Our thanks to one and all, and in particular congratulations to Louise and Dave Brown on reaching your Pearl Wedding Anniversary, and for having such a great party, that raised over £1,000 for charity! Tom acted as both entertainer and compère for the evening, a role he thoroughly enjoyed. Dave were kind enough to say:

"Thank you for your help in making Louise and my anniversary and Louises (forthcoming) birthday function a fantastic night last night. As always you stole the show and made it memorable for all the right reasons. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon"

Morpeth Market Place was great too! The Morpeth Town Team have organised Music in The Market Place each Saturday over the summer. Tom received so many lovely comments many of them on "Morpeth Matters", some of which we will post on the testimonials page soon.
11072015Morpeth MarketPlace
Tom sang between 1pm and 4pm in the sunshine. Take a look at MorpethNewsTV's video here. Tom will be back in Morpeth Market Place on Saturday 22nd August, between 1pm and 4pm - so why not come along and bring the sunshine with you! For now though Tom is off on holiday for a couple of weeks!

Tom's next public performances are at
Davanti Classico, Tynemouth on Friday 7th August and at Vercelli's, Hexham on Saturday 8th August. Details of Tom's forthcoming public gigs can be found here. For those of you who enjoyed Tom in the Market Place, why not come along to Horton Grange for an "Evening with Tom Wyllie" where he sings lots of his Classical/Musical Theatre/Easy Listening repertoire? He has dates there right through until next April.

Tom is diggin' Davanti Italia!

Tom Wyllie singing at Davanti Italia on 5th June
June has seen Tom perform twice at Davanti Italia - on both occasions to a wonderful audience. Thank you to the many of you who took the time and trouble to tell Tom or us just how much you enjoyed his performances - it really means a lot. Thank you too to those of you who bought one or other or both of his CD's. We hope it keeps you going until the next time you see him perform! Finally, thank you to the staff at Davanti Italia, Whitley Lodge. They have been warm and welcoming from the moment Tom walked through their door, and special mention must go to Ben and Karim, who have been enjoying Tom's gigs there so much, they decided that when Tom sings there, they want to wear Tom Wyllie, North East Singer logo'd shirts!

At both gigs, Tom began with a bit of Classical Music (it always seems to surprise and delight in equal measure) before cranking things up, and eventually having the restaurant singing and dancing the night away. A highlight was watching Tom lead a conga around the restaurant on Friday! On happy diner told us that it was a better night than New Year's Eve!

So, why the "diggin" in the title? Well, there are many sides to our Tom, and he punctuated the two Whitley Lodge gigs with a week up at Bamburgh, participating in the Bamburg Research Project Archaeological dig. He was digging within the walls of the castle, and he chose a fantastic week for weather. They unearthed various anglo-saxon artefacts - ask Tom when you see him next, it's fascinating stuff. But if music is what you are after - you will be pleased to know, he will be returning to Davanti Italia, Whitley Lodge on Fridays 29th August and 5th September. Book your tables now! If that is too long to wait, he will be performing at Davanti Classico in Tynemouth on Friday 7th August. If that is still too long to wait, then he is on at La Torre in Bedlington this Friday 26th June, and at Vercelli's in Hexham on Saturday 4th July.

Congratulations and Celebrations!

Tom Wyllie climbing up Mellbreak
April saw Tom take a well earned break in the Lake District. Many of you may not know he is a keen walker, trying to fit in ticking off all The Wainwright Fells in-between his busy schedule.

As soon as he got back, he headed straight up to Elligham Hall, where he performed for Mark and Becca Graham at their wedding reception. They had a fabulous day weather wise, a wonderful venue for a lovelyy couple. We wish them all the very
Mark Becca and Tom Wyllie
best for their future together. They were kind enough to get in touch after the big day and said:

“We knew Tom would be good, but he wasn't good, he was fantastic!
Tom was amazing! He really made the evening and the atmosphere was great!
Great set list, great voice and great interaction with our guests.
It wasn't just the two of us that thought Tom was great but our guests did too!
Everyone commented on how great he was!
Thanks for helping to make our day so special!”

Tom Wyllie wrap around
Tom followed that up with some great performances at Vercelli, La Torre and Horton Grange Country House Hotel. The latter made for a refreshing change, because Tom was able to sing more of his Classical and Musical Theatre repertoire there. The management indicated that they would love to have Tom back, so watch this space for further dates!

Tom Wyllie pointer
Almost needless to say his gig at Vercelli's went on beyond midnight, and he introduced a few new songs into his repertoire, just to keep everyone on their toes! Mike Brown of Life on Cartoon Motion came along and worked his magic, taking some awesome photos on the night. If you don't know of Mike, check out his website as he is an amazing photographer.

Next public gig is a first for Tom at Davanti Italia, Whitley Lodge. If you haven't been before, come along and check it out - lovely staff, great food, and Tom will provide some fab entertainment. See you there!

Mad March!

Since last we wrote, Tom has been singing at La Torre, Bedlington (twice), Vercelli's in Hexham - for the busiest night of the year to date, The Badger in Ponteland for a special charity night, and The Mayor of Morpeth's Civic Ball (after a one year absence) in Morpeth Town Hall.

Without exception, every night was great fun! Tom has a growing following at La Torre and Vercelli's so book early to avoid disappointment!
The Badger, Ponteland have been raising funds for two great charities and they posted on twitter:

"@TomWyllieSinger brilliant night raising money for 2 great causes #whatavoice
- @BadgerPonteland"

Check out the testimonials page because more and more people are getting in touch via the website, facebook, twitter and e-mail to say how much they are enjoying what Tom is doing. Following Tom's gig at Vercelli's on 7th March, Tom received lots of warm feedback, including from Louise Brison, the owner and all round lovely lady!

"Thank you for the most amazing night. Just when you think it can't get any better it actually does. He [Tom] is certainly a very special person"
Louise Brison

So, watch out for more of Tom's public gigs (in and amongst the weddings and private parties where he'll be performing) coming soon:
Vercelli, Hexham - Sat 18th April, La Torre, Bedlington - Fri 24th April and Horton Grange Country House Hotel - Sat 25th April. See you there, but don't forget to book!

Horton Grange and more....

February has continued where January left off! Who said January and February would be quiet?!

Tom was especially pleased to perform at Christine Locke’s Party at The Sour Grapes in Morpeth. It was the first time we had been, and what a lovely wine bar it is. We very much hope to return soon. Tom is available to perform at private functions and will tailor his performance to your needs.

Christine was kind enough to say afterwards:-
“Thank you so much for singing at my party yesterday! Everyone loved you! You just created a fabulous ambience to my afternoon.”

Tom Wyllie NE Singer atHorton Grange
On the Friday and Saturday Nights of Valentines Weekend Tom sang at Horton Grange Country House Hotel. Both nights went extremely well and the Saturday night was packed! Thank you to the many people who were kind enough to take the time to tell Tom how much they had enjoyed his performance. Lots of people bought CD’s but of course if you missed out you can buy them here. Someone even took the trouble to mention him on Trip Advisor!

"There was a North East Singer on in the restaurant and he was excellent"

The good news is, that Tom went down so well, he will be back! Make your reservations now for Saturday April 25th which is set to be his next performance in the restaurant at Horton Grange.

Tom has been talking to the lovely people at The Badger in Ponteland, and will be singing there on the night of Friday 20th March. It’s a charity night – the staff are raising money for the Great North Air Ambulance, but it’s very informal, so why not just turn up for a drink and to say hello?

Finally, on Friday Tom was back at Marabini’s – and with no more booked there for now, who knows, hopefully not for the last time? You can catch Tom next at La Torre on Friday 27th February. The following Friday, 7th March he will be at Vercelli's in Hexham. You will find the details here.

Happy New Year!!

Tom Wyllie North East Singer at La Torre
Happy New Year Folks!! December is always a busy month in the run up to Christmas, and December 2014 was no different. We had weddings, restaurants, charity performances and, of course New Year's Eve. Wow!

Tom was back at some of his favourite restaurants for Christmas Party season, including Vercelli's, La Torre and Marabini's. It's a lovely time of year - nobody needs much persuasion to get into the party spirit! Last month we mentioned Mike Brown of Life on Cartoon Motion Photography. Well, Mike came along to one of Tom's La Torre gigs, and took some great photo's. Take a look at them in
Tom's Gallery.

Tom was also performing at Maggie's Christmas Concert in Jesmond. Maggie's do terrific and much needed work at their centre at The Freeman Hospital. The concert raised thousand of pounds, and involved Tom, Graeme Danby, and Valerie Reid, as well last The Newcastle School for Girls Choir. Various regional figures read lessons, and everyone enjoyed the evening. At the end of the concert, Jason Isaacs also sang a few songs whilst everyone had mince pies and wine!

Tom Wyllie Full Flow
Afterwards Tom received the following messages of thanks:

Hi Tom I just wanted to say another big thank you for coming and supporting our event on Monday night. Your performance was fantastic and everyone has commented on how much they enjoyed it. Thank you again for all of your support.

Kelly Knighting-Wykes Centre Fundraising Manager

Tom, Very many thanks for performing at the Maggie's Christmas Carol Concert last night. Your performance of 'O Holy Night' was so powerful and hugely enjoyed by everyone. It was extremely kind of you to support Maggie's in this way. An enormous thank you. Do hope you and your family have a very happy Christmas and an excellent New Year. Very best wishes for your continued success.

Carolyn Ramsbotham (Concert Committee, Maggie’s Cancer Care Centre)

Dear Tom, Many, many thanks for all your help with the Maggie's Carol Concert at St George's it was an absolutely fantastic event and we have had the most wonderful feedback from the congregation, supporters and Maggie's Head Office. The evening was a great success for Maggie's raising in excess of £6,000 with more pledges still to come in, but most importantly created goodwill and awareness for our Centre here in the North East. We very much hope this will become an annual event. I would like to thank you personally, as Chairman of the Fundraising Board of Maggie's North East and on behalf of the Carol Concert Committee: David Wallace, Michaela Martin and Carolyn Ramsbotham. Finally, I wish you and your family a very Happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year.

Lorna Moran OBE, Chairman of Fundraising Board of Maggie’s North East Tom also sang for John and Jill Hudson at Seaham Hall Hotel, just before Christmas. They married on 20th December, for a truly Christmassy wedding. Of course, it's a fabulous venue, and Tom provided the early evening entertainment. John and Jill are a really lovely couple and deserve a very happy future together. Here's what Jill said afterwards:-

“I am so pleased I booked Tom to sing at our wedding. We were not disappointed. From initial meeting, through to the end of his performance, Tom was a delight to work with. He took immediate interest in our day and came to our venue to visit and see the set up before the day, which we were very grateful for. Tom's business has a true family feel, which we love, and fit in perfect with our day which also included our son's christening. I would highly recommend Tom for any event or wedding where you want to wow your guests with strong vocals, fun entertainment and a good range of style. Thanks for everything Tom! Now what party can I plan next where you can sing for us? Much love" – Mrs J Hudson.

So….Happy New Year to everyone. We hope it is a healthy one for you all. Tom's next public gig is at Vercelli's - aways a great night - and it's on Saturday 10th January. Hope to see you all there!

What a Great Weekend!

Many of you will know that Tom recently had surgery on his knee, which has seen him out of action for a couple of weeks. You will be pleased to know that it is on the mend, and whilst he hasn't been tripping the light fantastic yet, he has been back in action singing again this weekend at two of his favourite venues.

Tom Wyllie sings Never Forget at Vercelli
On Friday, Tom returned to Vercelli's in Hexham. If you haven't been yet, make sure you book for Tom's next gig. It is such a lovely restaurant, split between the restaurant and Bar Kalanta. Tom began the evening singing to diners, and then later he entertained everyone in the wine bar. Naturally it turned into a big party - lots of singing, dancing and laughing. Thank you to Louise and all her staff for making it such a wonderful place to entertain!

Tom Wyllie 111014.1
On Saturday night, Tom was back at La Torre in Bedlington. This was his first gig there since the new renovation work, and what a wonderful job Brent and the staff have done. They have created a lovely space for both dining and entertaining. It was a lovely crowd in last night, thank you all for the great feedback you gave Tom. A big shout out to all the children who followed Tom around the restaurant in what was for Tom quite a tame conga - his knee held him up! Tom's Dad especially enjoyed the night having raced back from Manchester just in time. He said it was the best steak he has had in ages, and, as always, the specialty cheesecake was fantastic!

Next public gig is on Saturday 25th October at The Old Storehouse, Amble. Come along and help make it another great night!

What a weekend!

Ruth GNR Tyne Bridge
That was another busy weekend! On Friday night Tom was at old favourite, Marabini's. It has to be said, with Giovanni and Miguel now gone, the atmosphere, and numbers are not what they were. Still, Tom set about injecting that atmosphere and entertained diners with his unique mix of popular classical through swing, to pop and was well received. Thanks to all those who were there - bring your friends next time! Tom is back there on Friday 3rd October.

Ruth GNR Finish
On Saturday, Tom was back at La Torre in Bedlington. The renovations are nearing completion, but this week, only the upstairs restaurant was open. It was full, and made for a more intimate atmosphere. It was a very good night, and Tom even finished off the night by playing a few George Formby classics on the Uke! He will be back there on Saturday 11th October, by which time the new restaurant will be open downstairs!

Ruth GNR Medal
Yesterday, was The Great North Run. By now, readers will know how important it was for the Wyllie family. Ruth, Tom's Mum - who is celebrating a milestone birthday this year, wanted to complete the run - before it is too late. Having said that, there was a 93 year old war veteran running, so there is time for us all! It was a fantastic day, and Ruth performed superbly well and has raised over £1,100 for The Child Growth Foundation. It's an absolutely superb effort, and our thanks to everyone who donated so generously. We are all extremely proud of her and are looking forward to The Child Growth Convention next weekend! It isn't too late to donate! Ruth put so much effort into her challenge - she would be very, very grateful for any donations! You can donate by visiting her JustGiving page here.

Tom's next public gig is
tomorrow night at The Boat Inn, Leaplish, Kielder, and he will be at Alnwick Garden Cafe on Wednesday from 12 Noon until around 2pm. Hope to see you there!

Thick, Fast and The Great North Run

Bupa Great North Run Logo
It's a couple of weeks since we have posted here, but Tom has been busy with gigs and holidaying in the Lake District. In that short time he has performed at Marabini's in Morpeth, La Torre in Bedlington (where they are busy putting the final touches to what will be a fabulous re-fit) and The Boat Inn, up at Kielder. He has been back to Kielder no fewer than four times since our last post, and is there again this coming Tuesday.

September looks like being even busier, as he brings his Summer season up at Kielder to a close, and has gigs, at Marabini's, La Torre, Alnwick Garden and The Old Storehouse, as well as a number of private gigs, as far afield as York and Northampton.

Child Growth Foundation Logo
The gig in Northampton, a week on Sunday, is for The Child Growth Foundation, a charity which ha been very supportive of Tom and his family over the years. This Sunday, Tom's Mum is running in The Great North Run, for the first (and possibly only!) time, and helping to raise much needed funds for this important charity. Yesterday, Anna Foster of Magic Radio Newcastle 1152 interviewed Ruth on air, as Anna highlights some of the less well known charities that hope to benefit from the Great North Run.

We missed the very start when Anna asked Ruth -
"This is the first time you have run the Great North Run, but do you think it will be the last?!" you can listen to what followed towards the top of the right hand sidebar on the homepage.

If you feel able and would like to support Ruth in her run, please visit her
sponsorship page here. Anything you can donate will be really, really appreciated! Thank you!

Meanwhile, you see Tom performing next at
Marabini's tomorrow night - Friday 5th September, and at La Torre on Saturday night - 6th September

The Old Storehouse welcomes Tom back

Tom Wyllie singing at The Old Storehouse
Tom was back at The Old Storehouse last night, after last weekend's hiccup. A 90's Band was booked in the Entertainment Lounge, so Tom performed an extended set in the Restaurant and Bar. As the evening wore on, people came through from the Entertainment Lounge to join Tom, and at the end, he received many well wishes. Indeed towards the end of his performance, people were pulling chairs up closer - to get "front row seats" as it were!

Thank you to everyone who take the time to give their feedback last night, it's always a pleasure to talk to the audience. Thanks too to those who bought one of Tom's CD's - we hope you enjoy!

Tonight, Tom is singing at
La Torre, in Bedlington, and tomorrow he will be up at The Boat Restaurant, up at Kielder. You can next catch Tom at The Old Storehouse on Friday September 19th, from about 8pm.

Time for a break!

With a busy diary, the website editor has not been reporting back from the numerous recent gigs! Sorry!!

For those of you we have seen over the last couple of weeks, at various venues - thank you for your support and kind comments! Recent gigs have included:

The Old Storehouse Amble
The Old Storehouse, Amble - where Tom is becoming known for the quality and variety of his repertoire. The Old Storehouse recently had £2M spent on upgrading the restaurant, pub, and owners entertainment lounge. It's a beautiful place to be entertained whilst dining on high quality food. Tom has been entertaining both the general public in The Old Storehouse, and the owners in Links - The Owners Entertainment Lounge.

The Boat Inn Kielder
The Boat Inn, Leaplish, Kielder - where Tom has started his Summer season. Still to come, Tom will be singing there on four Sunday evenings in August and four Tuesday evenings in September. So, enjoy the long evenings, and make your way to one of Northumberland's beauty spots, and enjoy the food and entertainment whilst looking out over the fabulous Kielder Water.

Marabini Logo
Marabini's, Morpeth - where Tom is still entertaining. When he was last there the restaurant was packed out, and as ever, he had people singing along and dancing. Marabini's has long been a favourite venue, and although Tom doesn't go there as often these days, he still has a few gigs booked between now and December.

La Torre Logo
La Torre, Bedlington - Just last night Tom was back at La Torre, and the restaurant was fully booked. A special shout out goes to Pinot, who used to work at Marabini's and it was a pleasure to see him add to the lovely atmosphere at La Torre. Tom was singer, dancer, children's entertainer and child minder last night, as some of the young customers joined him dancing and doing a conga (well it was a little like the Pied Piper!) round the restaurant. Tom received possibly the biggest round of applause yet for his rendition of Nessun Dorma, which with the final of The World Cup playing tonight was certainly appropriate - even if England didn't get past first base (Hmm getting our sports a bit mixed up there I think!!). Jackie Rayer was kind enough to write today:

"Fantastic night last night. Tom, you have an incredible voice, which makes me melt when you sing classical. Outstanding - look forward to next month!"

All of which finally brings us on to "the break". Tom is taking a well earned holiday, but will be back and raring to go, for a busy August schedule. Take a look at the public gig dates page, to see where and when you can see him perform. His next public gig is at The Alnwick Garden on Wednesday 6th August from 12 Noon.

Absent friends

Tom Wyllie Nessun 2 r
On Saturday, Tom returned to La Torre, Italian Restaurant in Bedlington, entertaining diners with his mix of classical and popular music.

Last time he was there, a lady enjoyed the night so much, that she booked her birthday party for Saturday, together with her 30 guests! Regrettably, at short notice, she had to cancel, because she has gone into hospital. We wish her well, and look forward to your return, when we will be sure to celebrate in style!

Despite the absence of such a large party, diners enjoyed a great nights' entertainment, with plenty of classical music to start off with, and plenty to sing a long and dance to later on. Particular mention goes out to Jackie and Rick, for whom this was the second time they had seen Tom perform. It seems Jackie loves Tom's rendition of Nessun Dorma, but it reduces her to tears each time! As if that isn't bad enough, Tom performed it for a second time as an encore on Saturday! Also to Mandy, whose birthday it was on Saturday, and who did a mean Gangnam Style, and Hand Jive!

We are all looking forward to returning to
La Torre next time, on Saturday 14th June. If you can't wait until then, catch him next Saturday at The Dyke Neuk Inn, starting in the restaurant, and moving later into the bar. Full details of Tom's forthcoming public gigs can be found here.

A beautiful day in the garden....

Tom Wyllie Alnwick Garden Cascade
Tom Wyllie, North East Singer, spent the day in the garden today! Not just any garden though - he was at Alnwick Garden, and he chose a day when there was scarcely a cloud in the sky. The gardens were looking fabulous in the sunshine, and the visitors were equally warm with their compliments toward Tom. Our thanks to all who took the time to say “hello”, or give a wave or a “thumbs up” mid song!
Tom Wyllie Alnwick140514
It’s such a lovely relaxing venue, and of course even better in good weather. If you missed him, Tom will be back in three weeks time on 4th June. Let’s hope for more of the same weather.

If you can’t wait until then, well Tom is on at La Torre Italian Restaurant in Bedlington on Saturday evening - see you there?

La Torre, Bedlington

Tom Wyllie singing at La Torre Bedlington
Last night Tom returned to La Torre, for the first time since December. He was a hit! Offering his unique blend of classical through to dance numbers, he literally had diners both dancing, and in tears (in a good way!). Our thanks go out to all those people who took the trouble to say how much they had enjoyed their night, and there were many of you. Your feedback is always greatly appreciated.

Cream Egg Cheesecake
For our part, we really enjoyed our night too, and for those who have yet to try La Torre in Bedlington, it is well worth a visit. Last night, and in honour of the Easter weekend, they had a delicious homemade Cadbury’s Creme Egg Cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious, but it has to be said, this was simply the finale to what was a lovely meal.

Why not try out
La Torre when Tom is next there on Saturday 17th May? In fact Tom will be there once a month, so keep checking the gig dates page for forthcoming dates. Meanwhile, you can next catch him at Marabini’s, Morpeth on Saturday 3rd May.

Vercelli, Hexham

Vercelli Billboard
Tom Wyllie, North East Singer, made his debut in Vercelli Italian Restaurant, Hexham last night. For those of you have yet to visit Vercelli’s - don’t put it off any longer! It is no ordinary restaurant, with lovely food, and friendly service. It’s a treat.

Tom set up, both in the bar and in the restaurant, and worked between the two, keeping diners entertained in both areas! Judging by the feedback, everyone enjoyed Tom, just as much as we enjoyed Vercelli’s, as Louise, the owner, has invited him back. You can see him there next on Saturday 21st June, 2014.

Meanwhile, you can next see Tom at
La Torre, Bedlington, on Saturday 19th April. He will be singing from about 7:45pm. Book your table now for a great night out!

Springing Off!

Tom was back at Marabini’s last Saturday, a venue he always enjoys - hopefully diners enjoy seeing him there too!

In the coming weeks, Tom is performing at a variety of restaurant venues - some new, some familiar, so Tom will be taking his show to a wider audience during the spring. This Friday, Tom will be singing at
Sonero’s in Tynemouth, which quite recently has changed hands. Make your booking now, with David, the manager there, and look forward to a great night out on the coast. The following Friday (11th), Tom will be at Vercelli’s, in Hexham, a beautiful restaurant on Priestpopple, where Louise Brison is your host. That’s sure to be a great night too!

In the coming weeks, Tom will be back at Marabini’s,
La Torre in Bedlington, and Alnwick Garden too. He’ll also be returning to The Dyke Neuk, Meldon. He is also delighted to announce that this year he will be performing at The Boat Inn Restaurant, Kielder on New Year’s Eve - a venue which is fast becoming another jewel in Northumberland’s crown.

For dates and times, as always, check out the
gig dates page. Keep watching as more dates are added!

Marabini's

Recently, Marabini’s decided to have live entertainment, only on a Saturday night. As regulars will know, many of Tom’s forthcoming gigs were on Friday nights, so there have been some cancellations to many of the dates at Marabini’s that Tom was showing on his Public Gigs page. We can only apologise for this, and suggest that anyone hoping to see Tom there, check when booking their table, that he will be performing. We know many of you do that already. He still has a couple of Saturdays booked which appear on the gigs page.

Tom will be appearing in Hexham at
Vercelli’s Italian Restaurant in April, and La Torre Italian Restaurant in Bedlington in April and May.

Tom was back at Marabini’s last night, and enjoyed a superb evening, where he entertained everyone, with the variety of material for which Tom has become well known. By the end of the night, he had the dance floor packed, and his appreciative audience gave him warm applause - which is what he thrives on! There were a few parties in last night, both big and small, and Tom had them all involved, singing at their tables, and dancing with them on the dance floor.

Don’t miss Tom’s next appearance at
Marabini’s on Saturday 29th March. Be sure to book a table though!

Full steam ahead to Christmas!

Tom Wyllie singing at Marabini December 13
Time for a quick update! Here we are, halfway through December, and Tom has been singing his socks off! He has been singing both at Marabini’s and La Torre in Bedlington, and he has more Christmas gigs to come! La Torre is a new venue for Tom, but the staff and customers were very welcoming, and at the end of the night, Tom was giving the remaining few a “personal concert” of some of his favourite songs.

La Torre Tom
Christmas party season is well under way now though, and at Marabini’s last Saturday, Tom had the whole restaurant singing along to lots of songs. We have some video clips, which we will try and piece together in to a montage as soon as possible! Laura Mills definitely enjoyed her night:

Twitter - best time last night at the first of many of my 21st birthday celebrations, thank you @TomWyllieSinger & Marabini's for an amazing night! :)
You can check out where he will be on his gig dates page. He is back at Marabini’s this Friday and Saturday - and don’t miss his guest solo appearance at Anna Foster’s Magic Choir at The Sage on December 18th! They are singing in aid of Cash for Kids. But first, see you at Marabini’s!
