No news is not bad news
No news does not mean bad news!! 2017 proved to be Tom's busiest year yet (we know we said that of 2016 and 2015 before that!).
On top of that, Lollo Rosso moved into their fabulous new premises. If you haven't been yet, you are in for a treat.
Keeping this page up to date is not something we've been good at, but don't despair. Check out Tom's Facebook Page. That is kept up to date, or ask to join the newsletter. We only send one out when there is something out of the ordinary to report - so maybe once or twice a year. You won't be inundated. You can join at the bottom of any page on the website.
Finally….HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Such a busy year!
We'd hate you to think that the lack of news on Tom's "news" page means he hasn't been up to anything. On the contrary - he has had the busiest year yet and consequently we haven't been good at keeping this page up to date. We keep his forthcoming public gig page updated, and he has performed at more private parties, weddings and charity/corporate functions in 2016 than in any previous year.
We'll try to bring you a proper update soon!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to everyone! We hope you had a lovely Christmas and that you have a prosperous and healthy 2016.
It has been a while since we posted here, and that is largely because Tom had his busiest November and December to date! There is no point in reporting back on the many gigs he performed, although a special mention should go out to the Maggie's Christmas Carol Concert in Jesmond. This was the second such concert and if anything it was even better than the first. Maggie's Centre does an amazing job offering free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends. Tom has sung at both concerts, and last month he also provided the Post Concert - Concert! Whilst people ate their once pies and drank a glass of wine, Tom entertained. If you missed it, watch out for next year's concert - it's a really lovely occasion supported by some high profile North East Business people, and some fantastic entertainers, choirs etc.
Tom also sang at a number of his regular venues - Davanti Classico, Davanti Italia, Horton Grange, La Torre, Lollo Rosso Italia, Vercelli's, Sanderson Arcade, as well as at a number of private functions. If you came along - thank you, we hope you enjoyed it! If not, why not?
New Year's Eve was at Vercelli's in Hexham, and as you may know, Tom lost his voice on the night. It's a singer's worst nightmare, and we only established he had no voice at 6:30pm on the night. Apart from a couple of croaky lines of Auld Lang Syne, Tom could only provide a DJ service - an almost silent one. He did manage to dance with some of the revellers. We are so sorry to all who came, although a fantastic night still ensued, we can only imagine how good it would have been with Tom in full voice. Fortunately most of you know what a great night it usually is at Vercelli - especially when Tom is singing! So we look forward to seeing you all at his gigs there throughout 2016 and, yes, on New Year's Eve 2016! He will be back and we aim to make this one the best New Year's Eve ever!
So many have been stricken by this nasty virus, and it's a tough one to shake off. So Tom's first gig of 2016, following his recovery didn't come until Saturday 16th January. It was at a new (for him) venue - Marden Residents Association Club. Tom did a first set from his Musical Theatre/Pop Classical repertoire, then had everyone singing, dancing and doing a big conga in his second set! We had a great night and hope very much to make this another regular venue. The people there are lovely, and the event is open to non-members. The gig is ticketed and next time (Sat 16th April) we believe will include a buffet. What a bargain for a fantastic night out! Don't miss the next one. We hope to tell you about one or two other new venues soon.
Meanwhile, Tom is back in action on Saturday 23rd January at Lollo Rosso Italia. Book your table now at what is THE place in Morpeth.

Congratulations....
Another busy weekend saw Tom singing at La Torre in Bedlington on Friday, followed by Horton Grange Country House Hotel on Saturday. Saturday was a full house at Horton Grange, and a special mention must go to Sonia and Nevin who were there celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. The theme at Horton Grange, is Pop Classical, Musical Theatre and some easy listening (bit of swing etc) thrown in. Tom dedicated "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" from The Lion King to Sonia and Nevin, and they obliged by getting up to dance - a lovely moment.
If you haven't caught Tom there yet, he is next there on 13th December - book your table now! Meanwhile, he is back at the wonderful new Lollo Rosso in Morpeth on Saturday 7th November and Friday 13th November. See you all somewhere soon?

Lollo Rosso is here!!!!!
It is two months since we posted here, which is crazy! In that time Tom has sung at countless restaurant gigs, at Charity Balls, the Kielder Marathon, and local weddings.
All the gigs were great fun. Tom helped raise £1,100 at Stocksfield Golf Club for MIND - well done to Richie Armstrong who went on to run in the Great North Run, again. Ali and Richie were kind enough to say "Tom was great at our charity night – he fitted into the venue well and helped getting all the guests involved with his fantastic voice and personality! A must for every night to get the audience involved!”
Well done too to everyone at Muscles for Mitchell. They held a Superhero Ball at Bannatyne Hotel in Darlington, and Tom provided the entertainment, whilst over £3,000 was raised on the night! A fantastic effort. Kate Tinkler was also very kind to send us a message saying "Tom was a great find. Recommended by a friend and easily booked with quick and straight forward, honest communication. Tom was flexible, he has a broad repertoire and was a lively and fun entertainer at our Superhero charity ball. He was a great sport and everyone thoroughly enjoyed his performance on the night. Will definitely be booking him again!"
Congratulations to Gemma and Kenny Buxton for whom we had great fun recently providing their Wedding Celebration entertainment:
You can catch Tom next at La Torre in Bedlington on Friday 30th October and at Horton Grange Country House Hotel on Saturday 31st October. See you there!

"Just wanted to thank you once again for making our wedding celebration on Sunday night at Barluga so amazing.
We had the best night, hope you enjoyed it too."
