Merry Christmas!
27/12/12 17:20
A slightly belated Merry Christmas to one and all!
As some of you may know, not everything went to plan!
Tom picked up a virus, which caused him to lose his voice, and was unable to sing in Eldon square on 21st and 22nd December. This came as big disappointment, to us, and of course meant he couldn't raise much needed funds for TOMA Fund on those days.
He did perform for Rotary Club, Newcastle West, in Eldon Square on 18th of December.
Eve Simpson, 13, joined him. Eve is a talented young musician, who Tom met at the UK Festival4Stars National Final in Runcorn last month. She accompanied herself on guitar, and entertained with a diverse set, ranging from Christmas songs, to Coldplay and Jessie J! Watch out for Eve in the future!
Together, Tom and Eve raised nearly £400 in about an hour and a half.
Happily, Tom rested his voice and is fully recovered and raring to go on New Year's Eve - his next public performance.

Tom Wyllie - Festival4Stars UK Finals….
19/11/12 13:26
Tom Wyllie, delivered an accomplished performance of one of his popular Il Divo covers - Isabel, on Sunday, at the National Final of Festival4Stars. He was the only classical singer to make it through to the finals, and, amongst plenty of strong feedback, was told how brave he was to enter amongst contestants singing pop songs.
His performance won an ovation from the audience, and Tom has come away with, some great comments, and one or two areas he is going to work on.
Congratulations to Louise Hall, the winner, who sang a lovely version of Whitney Houston's "Run to You".

Tom Wyllie to compete in National Final of singing competition...
31/10/12 13:11
Earlier this year, Tom entered UK Festival4Stars. He won his heat, and then he went on to win in the North East & Cumbria Final too. This means that in a couple of weeks time he will go to Runcorn, to compete in the National Final.
He has been performing Isabel, made famous by Il Divo - or, at least, a shortened version, as each competitor is only allowed three minutes. Tom is performing in the 15 - Adult category, and the competition has seen finalists go on to do well, both in competition and in their careers. Past winners have included George Sampson and Faryl Smith.
The Finals are being held in Runcorn on Sunday 18th November 2012.

We'll keep you posted as to how he gets on, but meanwhile, it is great to see Tom back! He has more public gigs coming up, and at the end of the month is heading back to the recording studio.
Tom is also pleased to announce that he will be appearing at Ristorante Fratelli, in Ponteland on 30th August, 2012. He is very much looking forward to working with Marcello and his team there!
